How to remove photos from Facebook and Sonlet parties

As part of our ongoing process of keeping our videos and tutorials up to date, here’s another video tutorial to show you exactly how easy it is to remove your photos from Facebook and from Sonlet parties.  For most of you, we know this is just a refresher, but for those of you that are just getting to know Sonlet, this video tutorial should be super helpful.

As our expert users know, there are many reasons why we don’t automatically remove photos from Facebook and from Sonlet parties automatically, such as allowing you to collect “Next” and “Pass” comments on Facebook for those that do comment selling.  However, it’s super simple to remove your items from Facebook after they sell at the same time that you’re processing your orders.

Here’s the step-by-step process for removing your photos from Facebook directly from your Sonlet account:

1 – Navigate to your listings page
2 – Select the items with photos that you’d like to delete or click “Select All” to select them all.
3 – Scroll to the bottom and click “Delete Facebook photos for selected”
4 – Select the albums where you’d like the items removed
5 – Click “Yes, delete Facebook photos for selected”

If the items are also on Sonlet parties, here’s the step-by-step process for removing your photos from Sonlet parties:

1- Navigate to your listings page
2 – Select the items with photos that you’d like to remove or click “Select All” to select them all.
3 – Scrolls to the bottom and click “Remove selected from parties”
4 – Select the parties from which you’d like to remove the items
5 – Click “Remove from party”

If the items have already been sold, they will not be available on your Listings page for removal, but you can remove them from Facebook and Sonlet parties right from the Sales page. Here’s the step-by-step process for removing sold items from Facebook or Sonlet parties:

1 – Navigate to your sales page
2 – Select the orders with the items that you’d like to remove
3 – Scroll to the bottom and select “Remove selected from Facebook” or Remove selected from parties”
4 – Select the albums or parties you’d like to remove the items from
5 – Click “Yes, remove selected from Facebook” or “Remove from party”

Tips:

  • Watch for the green banner’s that indicate that you’ve successfully removed items from Facebook and from Sonlet parties.
  • You can always double check your Listings page and your Sales page to ensure that the links to the items on Facebook and your parties have been removed. If there are no links on these page, they are no longer on Facebook or your party page.
  • Deleting photos from Facebook is always done by our servers during low peak posting times, so that our Facebook quotas prioritize posting for sales over deleting photos.  This is so that everyone can keep selling without getting interrupted by deletion requests.  If you’re concerned that your Facebook photos haven’t been removed even after seeing the green confirmation banners, check the posting status page to see where your deletion request is in the queue or check the Facebook Doctor page to check your Facebook account for errors.
